MEDEA in thrilling new staging by Avra Sidiropoulou.


CISPA and the renowned Greek stage director and professor of theatre Avra Sidiropoulou join forces in the production of Medea, which will perform in Copenhagen during the CPH Stage Festival, May 2025.

Staging Euripides’ Medea is part of the desire to reintroduce Danish and CPH expat audiences to one of the most psychological of Greek tragedies, which still has the ability to evoke pity, fear, and katharsis (to reference Aristotle) in a contemporary audience.
