Who are the dancers?
Lorena Tarantino and Gianpiero Galdi are a dynamic Italian tango duo renowned for their profound understanding of movement, pedagogy, and musicality. Their collaboration began in 2018, blending Gianpiero’s engineering and biomechanics background with Lorena’s extensive dance training and educational expertise. Together, they have developed a unique pedagogical approach that emphasizes clarity, connection, and expressive freedom, making complex techniques accessible and meaningful for students.
Together they are celebrated for their captivating performances and workshops at prestigious festivals worldwide, including Krakus Aires, TangoTageHalle, and the Sarajevo Tango Festival. Their work continues to inspire and elevate the global tango community through a blend of technical precision, emotional depth, and educational innovation.
