The music starts at 6pm and consists of two sets of lovely tunes separated by a break, so that we musicians can have something to eat.
Julieta Rod and Mads Bolding both let their songs live where folk and rock fuse together in beautiful ways. Their songs are both achingly sincere and preciously poignant, and their instruments are the natural extensions of their respective voices.
It's always a special time when you get to Julieta Rod sing. Her vocal artistry is one that can bring you to tears one moment and then let you swell with joy in the next. It's the perfect vessel for the songs that she writes which fuse her Argentinian roots with the energy and ethos of indie rock and pop psychedelia to produce an experience that truly takes you places through a multi-lingual mosaic of beautiful sounds.
Accompanying Julieta is long-time musical friend, guitarist, singer & songwriter Mads Bolding. The two songwriters found each other on Copenhagen's underground scene and immediately struck a chord with one another personally as well as professionally. Just like Mads has helped bring Julieta's songs to life, so has Julieta featured extensively on Mads Bolding's studio recordings, lending her angelic singing to Mads's laid back narratively focused delivery.
