Join us for a heartfelt evening of presence and sound as we gather for a Rapéh Ceremony & Singing Circle
### WHAT IS RAPÉH?
Rapéh is a sacred and traditional plant medicine from the Amazon rainforest. It is a ground powder mix. The primary ingredient is Nicotiana rustica, a potent type of jungle tobacco known as mapacho. Each rapéh consists of additional plants that have significance for each tribe. It has been used by indigenous tribes in the Amazon rainforest for centuries and carries healing and cleansing properties. We are blessed to benefit of its properties on this evening in Nørrebro.
### WHAT TO EXPECT
In this ceremony, we will mindfully offer this wonderful medicine, inviting you to center the mind, ground the energy, and open your heart to connect with your deeper truths.
🌱 You will be safely introduced by the space facilitators, and then served individually in the communal space. (It's ok to skip this and just enjoy the music and the space).
🪇 During the ceremony, we offer live music from various traditions, using guitar, voice, flute and drums. You are invited to let your voice blend into the musical field.
🫶 This is a space to connect with yourself and with others, to release what no longer serves you, and to embrace peace and presence.
♥️ Your emotions are welcome, whether they show up as tears of sorrow, smiles of joy, or energetic lifeforce.
No experience with Rapeh or singing is necessary. All are welcome exactly as you are.
