Dansk ICYE is a non-profit organisation that promotes intercultural understanding and global engagement through voluntary service and international exchange. We send young Danes abroad — and welcome young international volunteers here in Denmark.
Our local branches play a big role in fostering our intercultural community, made up of international volunteers and members living in Denmark — both Danes and internationals. In the Local Branch of Copenhagen, we organise a range of cosy and cultural events for international volunteers and Danish members — everything from cultural trips and museum visits to intercultural dinners and Lunar New Year celebrations.
At this introduction meeting, you’ll have the chance to:
👋 Hear a presentation about Dansk ICYE and what our local branches do
🌱 Learn about opportunities for volunteering, networking, and attending free workshops and activities in Denmark and across Europe
🍽️ Enjoy a nice lunch together
📝 Take part in a short, informal workshop
Everyone is welcome — whether you’ve heard of ICYE before or you’re simply curious to learn more about what we do.

As this is an open event, transport will not be covered. However, lunch will be - for both members and non-members.
