Den 19.–22. juni går GENERATION i luften, og Københavns spillefilmfestival er tilbage. I samarbejde med Gloria biograf, Empire bio og Cinemateket inviterer Den Danske Filmskole til filmvisninger, fester, kunstnermøder og dagsordensættende debatter over hele byen.
Og denne udgave af festivalen bliver noget ganske særligt. For det er afgangsår. Det betyder, at en ny årgang er klar til at forlade Den Danske Filmskole og vise omverden alt det, de kan. Så på dette års festival kan du opleve alle 19 afgangsfilm og få et unikt indblik i, hvor dansk film er på vej hen.
Og så har vi igen i år sammensat et unikt internationalt program med håndplukkede titler fra verdens største festivaler som Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Venedig og Rotterdam. Titler, som ellers har svært ved at finde vej til de danske biograflærreder. Og så kan du møde filmskabere fra ind- og udland, når de giver nye perspektiver på filmene og binder dem op på tidens store emner.
GENERATION starter torsdag den 19. juni og slutter søndag den 22. juni, og du er naturligvis inviteret med.

GENERATION is back and from June 19 – 22, the Copenhagen-based film festival once again invites you all to join us in a wide-scale celebration of the art of film. In collaboration with Gloria, Empire Bio and Cinemateket, the National Film School of Denmark invites you to film screenings, parties, artist meetings and thought provoking debates all over the city.
And this edition of the festival will be very special. Because it's graduation year. This means that a new cohort of filmakers are ready to take flight and show the world everything they know. So at this year's festival, you can experience all 19 graduation films and get a unique insight into where Danish film is heading.
And again this year, we have put together a unique international program with cherrypicked titles from the world's biggest festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Venice and Rotterdam. Titles that otherwise have a hard time finding their way to Danish movie screens. You can also meet filmmakers from Denmark and abroad as they give new perspectives on the films and connect them to the big issues of today.
