ARTIST TALK AND FINISSAGE

Join us for the finnissage of Stense Andrea Lind-Valdan’s solo exhibition ‘Alt Forladt’ (Bygones Goodbye) on Friday, 27 June 2025, at Galleri Maria Friis. The exhibition is on view until Saturday, 28 June.

To mark the closing of the exhibition, we’ll be hosting an artist talk with Lind-Valdan in conversation with gallerist Maria Friis and the gallery’s artist liaison, Clara Christiansen, from 17:00–18:00.

In Danish, Alt forladt is a familiar phrase that figuratively means “all is forgiven,” while literally translating to “all is left behind.” Embracing this ambivalence, Lind-Valdan explores both interpretations - working through themes of deliverance through pain, forgiveness, and the process of healing from physical and emotional wounds.
