To mark Europe Day, International Debat and EU i Danmark are proud to host a unique event featuring Dan Jørgensen, the European Commissioner for Energy and Housing.
Europe Day celebrates the Schuman Declaration of 1950 – a cornerstone for the peaceful and united Europe we know today. On this occasion, we invite students and guests to reflect on Europe’s current challenges and future direction together with one of Denmark’s most experienced political voices.
🔹 What to expect:
- A State of the Union-style speech by Dan Jørgensen, reflecting on the EU’s role in the world today and key priorities ahead
- A Q&A session with Professor Rebecca Adler-Nissen and Dan Jørgensen, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask your own questions
- A room full of curious minds, big ideas, and open discussion
Free sandwiches will be available for the early birds – so come on time and bring your appetite for both lunch and politics!
Whether you're a seasoned EU enthusiast or just curious to learn more, this is your chance to engage directly with top-level EU politics in an informal and welcoming setting.
