Circle of Now / Circling er en form for interpersonel praksis eller gruppemeditation, der fokuserer på nærvær, ægte kontakt og dyb kommunikation mellem mennesker.
I praksis samles en gruppe (typisk 6-12 personer), og opmærksomheden rettes mod en person eller mod dynamikken i gruppen. Deltagerne udforsker øjeblik-for-øjeblik oplevelser og udtrykker deres ærlige følelser, tanker og reaktioner med fokus på, hvad der sker i nuet – både i dem selv og i relationen til de andre.
Grundprincipper i Circling:
• Radikal ærlighed og sårbarhed
• Nysgerrighed over for andres indre oplevelser
• Ikke-dømmende tilstedeværelse
• Fokus på nuet og relationen, frem for fortid eller teori
Det kan ligne terapi, men det er ikke behandling – det handler om forbundethed og dybere menneskelig kontakt.
Hvad bidrager Circling med:
1. Større selvindsigt
Du bliver mere opmærksom på dine følelser, kropslige fornemmelser, reaktioner og mønstre i sociale situationer – især hvordan du relaterer til andre.
2. Bedre kommunikation
Ved at øve dig i at udtrykke dig ærligt og lytte dybt, styrker du dine evner til at kommunikere klart, respektfuldt og autentisk – også i svære situationer.
3. Dybere relationer
Circling skaber en intens følelse af nærvær og forbindelse. Det kan føre til venskaber eller dybere forståelse i eksisterende relationer, fordi man ser og bliver set uden filter.
4. Empati og forståelse for andre
Du træner din evne til at være til stede med en anden persons oplevelse uden at skulle “fikse” den. Det udvikler empati og følelsesmæssig intelligens.
5. Mindfulness i relationer
I stedet for kun at meditere alene, bringer circling nærvær ind i det relationelle felt. Det lærer dig at være mindful i mødet med andre.
6. Healing og transformation
Mange oplever, at sår bliver mødt med forståelse og nærvær, hvilket kan have en forløsende eller helende effekt – selvom det ikke er terapi.
Alle kan i princippet deltage i circling, uanset alder, baggrund eller erfaring – det kræver ingen særlige forudsætninger. Det vigtigste er en villighed til at være nysgerrig, til stede og åben over for det, der opstår i mødet med andre.
Circling er særligt relevant for:
Mennesker, der søger dybere kontakt og ægte relationer
Dem, der ønsker at udvikle sig personligt eller følelsesmæssigt
Par, venner eller kollegaer, der vil forbedre deres kommunikation
Folk med erfaring i meditation, terapi eller selvudvikling, men også nybegyndere

Det er vigtigt at vide:
Circling kan være intenst og følelsesmæssigt konfronterende.
Det anbefales ikke som erstatning for terapi ved alvorlige psykiske udfordringer – men det kan supplere terapeutisk arbejde.
Man behøver ikke dele mere, end man er tryg ved – men en vis sårbarhed og ærlighed er en del af oplevelsen.

Circle of Now (also known as Circling) is an interpersonal practice or group meditation that centers around presence, authentic connection, and deep communication between people.

About the Facilitator
Lærke Inanna Trunjé has worked as a psychologist since 2012.
She also holds a 4-year spiritual integrative body and psychotherapy education, a 1-year spiritual mentor training, and two certifications as a Circling facilitator.
Since 2017, she has hosted numerous Circling workshops.
