Beach Clean up @ Amager Beachpark
Join the fun at the beach, when we host a BEACH CLEANUP as part of Copenhagen Beach Swim - a fun swim race for all ages! Let's join together and make sure our beaches are clean of trash.
We invite you to take part in a TRASH BINGO, yes that's right. So bring your friends and family down to the beach to find as much trash as possible. Every action matters in keeping our ocean clean.
Saturday the 9th August from 12.15 - 13.30 at Amager Beachpark.
Here is the schedule:
12:20 Meetup by Nordic Ocean Watch beach flag
12.30 Trash Bingo intro and trash collection
13.00 Sort the waste - Citizen Science in action & announce the winners of the Trash Bingo
13.30 Visit the stalls with goodies, buy an ice cream or coffee, go for a dip or watch some open water swimming from Helgoland or the coast.

TOWEL COLLECTION; Do you have any towels with nice patterns and in good shape, but you are not really using them anymore, then bring them to donate to our partner “Bølgen Blå” who will upcycle them into the nicest beach stuff.
This event will be in English, with an option for Danish translation.
