Meet the artists:
JOLIE: Hailing from Copenhagen, of Tanzanian heritage, Jolie delves into the diverse sounds of Africa and African diaspora. With a musical range spanning from Highlife beats to Gqom and Kuduro, Jolies goal is to curate the unique and lesser-known selections, old as well as new, that cannot be found on any mainstream music charts. Jolie is an experienced DJ and has blessed stages in Denmark, Uganda and Sweden, sharing her vast musical knowledge and soulful style.
HYPHAE: Born in Italy and now based in Copenhagen, Hyphae explores the many shades of bass music, from deep, rolling sub frequencies to intricate, percussive rhythms. With a focus on texture and energy, Hyphae blends low-ends with crafted beats to create sets that are enveloping and resonant. Whether in the club or a more experimental setting, the music flows like mycelium, connected, evolving, and rooted in a love for bass-driven culture.
TEA LEWIS: Spanish-born London-raised Tea Lewis is a weaver of dubby low frequencies and boundary-pushing rhythms, drawing from the roots as much as amplifying the future. With one ear always to the ground, his new label spectiv platforms forward-feeling sound system music, exploring the space between introspection and catharsis.
So get ready for a night of heavy bass frequencies flowing through the carcass like a river of love!
