FARRAGO
FARRAGO is the duo between Tomás Gubbins (guitars and objects) and Felipe Araya (percussion and objects), two performers of free improvisation and timbral experimentation. The duo works in two distinct formats: one fully acoustic, featuring guitars, cajón, percussions, and found objects; and a louder setup with electric guitar and drums. With an intuitive and open approach, FARRAGO delves into the materiality of sound and spontaneous interaction, where each concert is a territory in its unfolding process.
FARRAGO adapts to different formats, intensities, textures, and varying amounts of silence, depending on the interaction and the musical context they inhabit. Their performances emerge from the moment, allowing their sound to shift fluidly between density and sparsity, rawness and subtlety, always embracing the unpredictable nature of improvisation.

This trio has been put together specifically for this occasion. Chino is a sublime improviser on both piano and electronics (MAX/MSP), who has been part of the avant-garde scene in Japan since the 70s. He has lived in Berlin for the last many years, where he has played a lot with Tristan Honsinger, among others. Kresten Osgood is one of these people who at the same time defy and totally own categories. An extraordinary drummer and improviser who with the fullest respect to tradition, challenges it at any given moment of his creative endeavors. Asger Thomsen works primarily in the field of contemporary improvised music. With a physical, detail-oriented approach and a rich palette of sounds often strengthened by the use of unconventional extended techniques, he aims for contrast and dynamic forward motion.

The trio consisting of Henrik Olsson (guitar), Nana Pi (tenor saxophone) and Halym Kim (drums) is a new constellation of three improvisers from the Copenhagen music scene. Their music aims for textural, abstract and expressive communication using traditional and extended techniques to create a dynamic spectrum of sounds. Every musician in this band contributes with their unique abilities to a rich, vibrant and dynamic musical conversation. A conversation that challenges our expectations and celebrates abstract music.

WOOD ORGANIZATION is an open constellation led by a Copenhagen-based duo of Szymon Pimpon Gasiorek and Tomo Jacobson - both players coming out of the Copenhagen's vibrant improv and creative music scene. Initially devoted to improvisation drawing from the sounds of nature (debut album "Wood Organization" 2017, Insula Jazz), the group has recently headed into a new direction which they themselves call drimpro (dream+impro). Their new music is a unique combination of repetitive acoustic grooves and abstract electronics sculpted in a free manner. It is an eclectic amalgam of the duo's various infuences ranging from free jazz, thorugh pop, ethnic music to reggae or regggeaton. Their second album "Drimpro" was realeased in 2021 and was nominated to Danish Music Awards Jazz. Their new album "Drimpro 3.0" recorded together with Snöleoparden will be released in July 2025 on Gotta Let It Out.
