Norskedalen's Twilight Tour, September 6, 2025: What better way to celebrate 200 years of Norwegian migration to North America than with good food, good friends and world-class music??
That’s exactly what we have planned for you!!!
Soprano Laura Loge and her accompanist Steven Luksan have a wonderful program of songs and piano music by Norwegian-American immigrant composers; Musical Migrations is a blend of classical music, historically popular (and sometimes silly) music, and beloved nostalgic chestnuts that our grandparents used to sing.
Eden Ehm will join us once again, bringing her Hardanger fiddle and wealth of flat fiddle repertoire from throughout Norway! Eden has entranced audiences at Midsummer Fest, and brings her joy in sharing the music of this unique instrument to enhance our Twilight Tour celebration.
GrassRun Band is a Norskedalen favorite! As Laura, Steven and Eden share music from Norway, GrassRun Band will share the music that developed in communities throughout America as new traditions were created. There’s no one who can share early American music like GrassRun Band!!
Twilight Tour Dinner will be served at 5 p.m.; dinner will be as delightful as the musical tour! Each musical performance will be in a unique location; guests will enjoy 20 minutes of music with each performer and a short walk from one location to the next in between each performance. The entire evening will be approximately two hours in length.
Advance reservations are necessary; call Norskedalen for details: 608-452-3424.
