Three years ago our families lives changed forever after losing our beloved sister and auntie Shona. Life continued on with many challenges but our wee mummy and nannie Ida continued to battle her cancer journey never giving up the fight 💪🏻
Last year our world turned upside down again when we lost our beloved wee mummy and nannie.
In the last week of Ida’s life, we as a family could not have gotten through it without the amazing support from the Marie Curie Day and Night Sit Respite Service.
Without even realising it, these wonderful women (ours were all female) came into our lives and provided a lifeline. We know that cancer touches so many people's lives where 1 in 2 of us will face a cancer journey.
So we would like to raise money to help support this amazing service specifically to Mid Ulster to help other families with the support and containment we received throughout the darkest days.
