Dog Mountain Trail
Washington 14, Cook, United States
Come enjoy the longer days and extra sunlight with us on an evening hike up Dog Mountain! We will meet at the trailhead by 6:30pm and aim to start hiking by 6:45 to cover some ground before stopping to watch sunset. This is a difficult hike of 6 miles and 3000 ft of elevation gain. Due to the timing and length of this hike, the group may shorten or alter the route- which will be discussed at the trailhead prior to hiking. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight as descent may be in the dark.
We will be hiking rain or shine so please pack for the weather accordingly. The event will only be cancelled if the weather is severe or road/trail conditions seem unsafe. As a reminder, pets and other animals should be left at home unless they are a service animals.
