Once again it is time to escalate!
We will be hosting a Game Goblins Warhammer 40k Escalation League! For all of those interested in starting the game, this is a great opportunity for new players. For those already playing, are you thinking about starting a new army? Or maybe you are just needing motivation to put the finishing touches on one you've been working on for a while. This is for you as well!
What is Warhammer: 40K? It is a Grimdark Science Fiction Wargame set in a far future of endless warfare. It is also hands down the most popular wargame to date. In it you will wage wars of ceaseless battles with the Heavily-armored genetically enhanced Space Marines, The Ancient and Eldritch Eldar, Insidious Chaos Cults, Endless hordes of Undead Robotic Necron legions, and many more forces all vying for dominance in a galaxy gone haywire. The system is simple to learn and filled with endless combinations of forces to place at your disposal. With so many enemies and so many options, what will you choose?
The point of the League is to learn the game and grow a force by starting with smaller forces and work our way up to full sized armies step by step each round. We award prizes for Best Warlord (top placed player), Best Painter, and of course Best Sportsmanship as well as a few possible other prizes to be determined. Come join the fun. We've had a large number of new players and old alike come together, learn (even relearn in some cases), build, grow, and play. If you're interested in getting into the game we can help you pick out a force and steer you in the right direction.
League Signup
League Entry will be $25. When you sign up, please provide your email for contact for the league and your chosen faction*.
League Schedule
The league will take place over the course of five rounds of two weeks each, starting at 1000 pts and escalating 250 pts per round from there.
Round 1 (1000 pts): September 8th - September 21st
Round 2 (1250 pts): September 22nd - October 5th
Round 3 (1500 pts): October 6th - October 19th
Round 4 (1750 pts): October 20th - November 9th
Round 5 (2000 pts): November 10th - November 23rd
