Meet & Greet with Larry and Emily

Come out to meet us! Located at our new home, Pope Ranch, we would love to invite everyone to see the facility and learn more about what we have to offer in terms of training, lessons, and showing.

Larry and Emily have owned and operated Legend Performance Horses since the summer of 2023. Specializing in ranch horses and cow horses, Larry and Emily function as a team to develop young horses into standout competitors at ARHA, AQHA, APHA, and NRCHA events. Between the two of them, they have accumulated hundreds of points in various organizations along with high-point titles, and have helped amateur and youth riders do the same. Emily is also a certified equine rehabilitation practitioner and board-certified physical therapist. She is responsible for ensuring the physical soundness of all of the equine athletes. Larry performs the hoof care on the horses in the program, customizing each shoeing package to meet the needs of the animal.

Our goal is to build confident and competitive horses for owners and exhibitors alike. We hope to continue to build our program so that we not only succeed at the regional level, but on the national stage as well.
