Once again it is time to escalate!
We will be hosting a Game Goblins Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Escalation League! It has come again. For all of those interested in starting the game THIS is a great opportunity for new players. For those already playing, are you thinking about starting a new army? Or maybe you are just needing motivation to put the finishing touches on one you've been working on for a while. This is for you as well!
What is Warhammer: Age of Sigmar? It's an epic high fantasy miniatures game with amazing looking models and a fun, fast play-style. You can wage wars in a world of ceaseless battles with valhallan Stormcast Eternals, insidious Chaos cultists, waves of savage Orruks, or even dwarven steampunk sky-pirates! It is designed to be easy to learn and offer hours upon hours of hobbying and gaming enjoyment. It's a blast!
The point of the League is to learn the game and grow a force by starting with smaller forces and work our way up to full sized armies step by step each round. We award prizes for Best Warlord (top placed player), Best Painter, and of course Best Sportsmanship as well as a few possible other prizes to be determined. Come join the fun. We've had a large number of new players and old alike come together, learn (even relearn in some cases), build, grow, and play. If you're interested in getting into the game we can help you pick out a force and steer you in the right direction.
League Signup
League Entry will be $25. When you sign up, please provide your email for contact for the league and your chosen faction*.
League Schedule:
The league will take place over the course of five rounds of two weeks each, starting at 1000pts and escalating from there. The first round of pairings will begin July 31st, and all results will need to be received within two weeks so a new round of pairings can be posted on time on August 13th and so on.
Round 1 (1000 pts): September 8th - September 21st
Round 2 (1500 pts): September 22nd - October 5th
Round 3 (1500 pts): October 6th - October 19th
Round 4 (2000 pts): October 20th - November 9th
Round 5 (2000 pts): November 10th - November 23rd
