This evidence-based flexibility method uses 2–5 minute passive holds to increase range of motion, with a focus on the hamstrings, hips, spine, and shoulders and plenty of props and options for every body. Each week you’ll enjoy grounding + science snapshot, a supportive practice, and time for reflection. What to Expect Each Week:
15-Minute Welcome & Mini-Lesson
Settle in with breath awareness, connect with the group, and explore a bite-sized science topic.
65-Minute Guided Stretch Practice
Relax into supported holds (2–5 minutes each) that lovingly target the four most common “sticky” spots—hamstrings, hips, spine, and shoulders. Multiple variations and plenty of props mean you’ll always have a version that feels right for you.
10-Minute Reflection & Q&A
Journal, share wins and challenges, and pick up take-home tips for daily practice
Please bring a journal or notebook and pen, water bottle and come wearing comfortable or athletic clothes.

About your presenter:
Sharon Marino
Sharon (she/her) is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Senior Teacher. As a Certified Stretch Coach with specific training in anatomy and biomechanics of mobility, core practice principles for change, sequencing and injuries, Sharon is well suited to lead this special series. Sharon’s schedule includes Chair, Gentle and Slow Flow Yoga and is looking forward to bringing this offering to our community.
As a former principal and educator in Philadelphia for over 20 years, Sharon brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and leadership to her teaching. Her approach is rooted in the belief that wellness and access to healing practices are for everyone, and she partners with communities to create meaningful change. Sharon’s work aligns beautifully with Yoga Home’s mission: “to educate and empower individuals through the art and science of yoga, engage in sustainable community outreach, and support spiritual growth.”
