The cruise starts from the Conroe Outlet Mall parking lot, (1111 League Line Rd, Conroe Tx 77303).
We will meet between 8:30-9:00, pulling out before 9:30 AM.
The cruise will encompass scenic back roads through portions of the Sam Houston National
Forest as well as the Southern portion of the Davy Crockett National Forest.
It will include a lake and dam view stop for a photo shoot, as well as traversing numerous scenic rolling hill roads, as we make our way East and North of the lake towards the town of Trinity.
We'll take hi way 1097 East thru Willis to Coldspring, then take a turn around
at Wolf Creek park where we continue our way up the East side of the lake toward the Lake Livingston Dam. From there, we will head North and East, taking numerous county
and state hi ways. We will pass through several small towns, including Livingston, Moscow, Corrigan and Groveton, ending up in Trinity where we will stop for lunch at Algavales Mexican restaurant. (110 E Brantley Trinity 75682). We should be there by approximately 12:30-1:00 pm. After lunch, there will be 2 returning options to take back to Conroe. One is a direct route through Huntsville, and the other a longer, scenic route South along the West side of the lake, passing back through Point Blank, Coldspring and Willis.
Road map specifics....I 45 N to Willis exit right to Hiway 75 where we turn N to 1097 heading toward Coldspring on 150 to a scenic short loop turn around county road to the Wolf Creek park entrance. ( park is closed to traffic)
Then back through Coldspring and along several county/State hi ways to the Dam, and ultimately to the town of Livingston. Take hi way 350 North from Livingston to Moscow, then a short distance North on Hi way 59 to Corrigan. Take hi way 287 West out of Corrigan to Groveton, then South on County road 355 to hi way 356. Turn North on hi way 356 to Trinity.

1. Hiway 19 to Huntsville and I 45
2. take hi way 19 to Riverside and 980 East to Point Blank on hi way 190. Take 190 West at hi way 156 to Coldspring, then 150 back to Willis or New Waverly.
