The young man sat in the class hopelessly lost and seriously
intimidated. He had no idea what the teacher was talking about.
Even though the teacher frequently would encourage the class to ask questions, the young man dared not raise his hand to
ask a question out of fear of looking stupid.
The teacher jokingly told his students, "Don't worry if you don't understand now, just wait, it will all become clear on the final!"
Sadly, when the day of the final test arrived, nothing was clear and the young man had few answers.
"How did you do?" a friend asked.
"Not very good," he replied, "But I did learn something: the only stupid questions are the ones I was afraid to ask."
Everyone, at some time or another, has questions that they would like to ask God. But most of us are afraid to ask those questions.
Perhaps we are fearful of looking stupid or maybe we are
afraid of questioning God or we might simply be afraid of the answers we would receive.
This Sunday we will be starting messages on "Questions you have always wanted to ask God, (but were afraid to ask)."
The first message will ask the question, "God, can I question you?"
Don't be afraid to come and learn the answer.
