Community Conversation- "Medicaid Works for Fayette County"

Democratic Women of Fayette County and SWPPA to Host Community Conversation on Medicaid

Connellsville, PA – The Democratic Women of Fayette County, in partnership with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Partnership for Aging (SWPPA), will host a nonpartisan community conversation entitled “Medicaid Works for Fayette County.” The event will focus on the potential impact of federal Medicaid cuts on Fayette County residents and discuss how the community can support its most vulnerable citizens.

The event is scheduled for June 4, 2025, at the South Connellsville Fireman’s Club, located at 1529 South Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, PA 15425.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

5:30 PM: Registration

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Panel Discussion

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Networking

The panel discussion will feature the following speakers:

Former Congressman Conor Lamb

Joe Angelelli, SWPPA Board President

Chuck Knisell, UMWA District 2 Vice President

Uniontown City Councilwoman Angela Brown will moderate the discussion.
