Come and join us for The Thurston Red Bench Project Weekender. Come and relive your youth, go back to those magical days spent at Thurston as a kid, only now you get to enjoy it as an adult.
Now do not worry if you are not as fit as you used to be, because you get to choose the activities you take part in, be it sailing, canoeing, a little walk up The Old Man or jumping off the jetty, heck, just sitting by the lake and watching the world go by, it is entirely up to you.
We will arrive at Thurston on the evening of Friday 6th June and leave around 3pm on Sunday 8th June. What you do whilst there is entirely up to you, but you will be with a bunch of likeminded people who are all there to have fun, relax and just enjoy being at Thurston. On the evenings we have a few things planned
This trip is for adults, it will cost £250, we will be posting the details on how you can pay for this soon, though we will be asking for a £75 deposit (non refundable) to reserve your space and the remainder of the balance will need to be paid by July 2025 (so you can pay in installments if you cant afford to pay it in one go). Places are limited and on a first come basis. We will be setting up a group chat and arranging a few meet ups before the trip so people attending can get to know each other beforehand and make your time there more enjoyable.

As most of you know, The Red Bench Project currently have a red bench located at Thurston, to help the children and adults attending the centre with any issues they may be having. We will be trying to raise funds and promote the charity by putting on events like this, we will also have some great prizes up for grabs with a fun raffle and some games during the weekend so bring a bit of change with you too.
