Coniston 8 Peak Challenge - Lake District

The Coniston 8 Peaks is a full-day hike covering a classic round of summits including Wetherlam, Swirl How, Brim Fell, and the Old Man of Coniston. The route involves steady climbing, some rocky sections, and around 1,300m of ascent, with regular breaks and a manageable pace throughout.

Along the way, we'll pass old mine workings and ruins from Coniston's copper mining history, particularly on the slopes of the Old Man. Expect a long day on your feet, varied terrain, and big views if the weather's clear. You'll need good boots, warm layers, and enough food and water to keep you going, it's a solid mountain day, but a beautiful one!
