Once again this summer, The World's A Stage Players, Concord Players' Shakespeare troupe, will stage a free production at the lawn of the Concord Free Public Library.
Power, rebellion, and redemption collide in Henry IV, Part One, Shakespeare’s thrilling tale of a kingdom on the edge. As King Henry IV battles to hold onto his crown, his son Prince Hal is off drinking and joking with the likes of the infamous Falstaff. But with civil war looming and the fiery Hotspur rising against the throne, Hal must decide what kind of man - and what kind of leader - he’s meant to be. A story of honor, identity, and the making of a king, this play crackles with action, wit, and unforgettable characters.
