Helping Kids Manage Stress through Art

Helping Kids Ages 7–11 Manage School Stress Through Creativity

Is your child feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure about school?This fun and supportive art therapy–based workshop helps children express emotions, build confidence, and discover healthy coping skills in a safe and creative environment.

In this workshop, kids will:

• Create art that explores feelings in a fun, non-judgmental way
• Learn calming techniques they can use at school and at home
• Make and take home a special art piece (such as painted affirmation stones or a “safe space” collage)
• Connect with other kids who may feel the same way

Perks that make it extra special:

• Healthy snacks and drinks provided
• Cozy, welcoming art space with music and inviting materials
• Take-home art projects to remind them of what they’ve learned
• Optional therapy dog/or Bunny visit (when available) to bring extra comfort and joy
