AF Northwood Takes on the 2025 Fit 4 A Cause Triple Challenge Event

The "Fit 4 A Cause" Triple Challenge Event was started in 2018 by the wonderful Renee Plodzik. This non-competitive event invites participants to bike 3,5,or 10 miles, run or walk a 5k, complete a 5 bootcamp stations and/or yoga. Compete in as many or as few options as you'd like. This untimed event is about community, working out with friends, as well as raising money for local cancer survivor support care packages. The Triple Challenge has raised over $30,000 in the last 6 years! Funds raised are used to put together care packages for local cancer patients with items such as gas cards, spa gift certificates, mugs, teas and accessories. Comfort items that are not covered by insurance.

2025 will be my 4th year (John's 3rd) participating in the event. It is easily one of my favorite days of the year for a cause that is near and dear to my heart and so many others. My goal is to have 40 AF Northwood members/class participants sign up and join me on Sunday, Aug 17th. Let's show them what AF Strong means and looks like.
