“The Grinch HATED Christmas. The whole Christmas season.
Now please don’t ask why, no one quite knows the reason.
It could be that his head wasn’t screwed on just right,
It could be perhaps that his shoes were too tight,
But I think the most likely reason of all
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small…”
Join the Theatre CBS team for this traditional telling of the classic Dr. Suess story, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” written by Rex Roberts. This musical version of the classic tale includes all your favourite characters.
We are casting for 12 named characters and 4-6 additional villagers. Characters include the Narrator, who sings the famous “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch;” the Grinch himself, who has his own bluesy Christmas ballad; and the Who family, including little Cindy-Lou, who will sing the popular new song, “Where are you Christmas?”
• Not all parts require solo singing, however all actors will be required to join in on choral songs like the popular “Welcome Christmas (Fah who Doraze).”
• We are casting for adults and children 10 years and older.
• Show dates are December 11-13.
Auditions will take place Monday, October 6 at Worsley Park beginning at 7 p.m. You must book an audition time. Please email
