🦇 Join us October 25th for a free family friendly guided walk with local bat expert and Nature NL volunteer, Lia!
We’ll explore the Manuels River Trail, chat about bats and the natural space around us, and we might even spot a bat box along the way!
Feeling creative? Come dressed in your best bat-inspired look!
We will be meeting at the Manuels River Hibernia Center parking lot. See photo in the event discussion section regarding meeting place.
This event is free to attend. All ages are welcome. This is a slow-paced (kid pace) hike and we have lots of time to chat about things we find and see, such as plants, birds, mosses, lichens, tracks, etc.
Please dress for the weather, the trails may be wet, hiking footwear is recommended. By participating you assume full responsibility for risks arising out of or related to participation in this event.
***In the event of postponement, the hike will be moved to Sunday, same time same place, please keep an eye on this event for any updates ***
