The Future of Water in the Western Hill Country:
🟣 On the edge of the encroaching Chihuahuan Desert, enclosed by Flash Flood Alley, west of a growing urban center, and home to a rich agricultural heritage, the rural Hill Country faces water pressures from every direction. After the water shortages of 2022 and the historic flooding of 2025, how do we plan for the future?
🟣 At this Rural Roundup, hear from local leaders, businesses, and landowners as they share how they're adapting water management strategies to prepare for new challenges. Together, we'll explore what's working, what isn't, and how you can bring these lessons back to your own community.
