🚨 This Saturday — Compton, We Move! 🚨
On Saturday, July 19th, something beautiful is happening in the City of Compton. Over 400 volunteers—alongside pastors, residents, block club leaders, and city officials—will roll up their sleeves and work hand in hand to bring new life to our neighborhoods. 💪🏽✨
📍 Meet us outside the Compton Courthouse (400 S. Acacia Ave.)
🕖 Rally + Orientation: 7:30–8:00 AM
🕗 Work Begins: 8:00 AM sharp — across all 4 districts!
Here’s what’s going down:
🏠 3 homes painted
🌾 2 blighted lots cleared
🎨 Murals revived at Compton Early College
And every act of love and labor will help restore beauty and dignity to our city.
🙌🏽 A huge THANK YOU to the City of Compton and its dedicated leaders for their continued collaboration on this vision to Clean & Beautify Compton. We couldn’t do this without you!
We’re also incredibly grateful for the servant-leadership of:
🙏🏽Karen Harris & Pastor Rafer Owens— Faith Inspirational Church
🙏🏽 Pastor Hector Monarrez & everyone at Victory Outreach, Compton
🙏🏽 Ricky Bible & Tim Chambers — Faith Community Church
🙏🏽 Eric Gilbert & Bishop Michael Fisher — Greater Zion Baptist Church
Your churches are not just preaching change—you’re leading it. Thank you for loving Compton out loud. 💛
🛠️ Local leaders. Pastors. Residents. Block captains. Business owners.
Every one of you is showing up to make Compton a clean, safe, and hope-filled place to live, work, and raise a family.
🌇 This is more than a workday.
This is a movement.
A movement of unity, dignity, and transformation—block by block, heart by heart.
Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep building. Let’s keep loving this city forward. 💛
