Join us for an inspiring and healing evening with author and educator Cynthia Alonzo, featuring an interactive workshop and a powerful book conversation centering Latine experiences, ancestral wisdom, and emotional wellness.

This dynamic, all-ages workshop explores how music connects us to our emotions, dreams, and community. Grounded in indigenous healing practices, Cynthia will guide participants through movement, rhythm, and bilateral stimulation as tools for processing grief and anger. Together, we’ll honor ancestral ways of healing through sound and reconnect with the medicine that lives in music.

📚 6:00 PM – Book Talk: My Marianismo – Nurturing Myself from the Roots to the Bloom
Cynthia will dive into her transformative book exploring the inherited patterns of marianismo—how colonization shaped generations of Latine women through sacrifice, perfectionism, and emotional labor. Through stories, science, and healing practices, she offers a path to breaking cycles and reclaiming wholeness.
