The Lunar Octet

Join us at the library for the award-winning group The Lunar Octet as they play original and eclectic music drawing on Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, rock, African high-life music, and Brazilian sambas to forge a new sound enriched by these traditions. Their original compositions involve rich arrangements with a strong focus on soloists. Their music is an exciting blend of fiery Latin grooves, driving funk rhythms, swinging bop tunes, and romantic ballads.
