About the event

80th Anniversary of VJ Day

Good Evening, I'm organising an event on Friday 15th August to commemorate the 80th anniversary on VJ day, where Japan surrendered subsequently ending WW2.

We're holding a raffle, when the proceeds will be donated to the Royal british legion, and I'm reaching out to local businesses to ask if anyone would kindly donate a prize for the raffle, in order to maximise the donation.

All are welcome to join us, we're also looking for children's entertainers who may be willing to spare an hour, or half an hour, anything is gratefully received.
