14th Annual Columbus Back to School Bash & Fam Jam

Special opportunity to be a part of the largest back to School Festival in Columbus, Ohio with 10,000+ expected in attendance. Key event to connect with families in Columbus before the start of the school year. Helps families find area school options, resources for their family, connect with local area businesses, find educational resources, classes, health, services that help inner city families, activities, childcare, afterschool help, programs for adults/kids, items for their home, shopping or simply connecting with parents / guardians.

It will attract families and community from Columbus, Franklin County, Hilltop, Obetz, Franklinton, Short North, German village and surrounding area.


  • When: August 2nd 2025 (Saturday, Noon 3PM)
  • Where: 120 W Goodale St, Columbus, OH 43215 (Center of the park)
  • Who Attends: Families from Columbus, Franklin County, Hilltop, Obetz, Franklinton, Short North, German village and surrounding area
  • How it works: Outdoor event! Families pre-register to attend the event and it's various fun activities. Admission is free.
  • Expected Attendance: 10,000+


  • Why families attend the event: This family event connects parents with schools, resources to help inner city families, local community resources, classes (kids or adults), after school programs, education, childcare, health & wellness, items for their house, shopping, or simply things that you need when you are an adult (insurance, buying a home, or just other adult stuff).

What to do at the event:
  • Fun Items: Get your child ready for Back to School – tons of free back to school supplies, free Pizza, school enrollment on-site, Sully from Monster’s Inc, bounce park, new tunnel fort zone, mini golf, water tag game, magician performance, music, dance performances, balloon artist, hula hoop/jump rope/ limbo contest, face painter, duck matching game (win either mini beach ball, water gun or candy), prize wheel, lucky coin game, bubble-bubble gum game, lollipop game, bubble zone, free cotton candy, cookies, popcorn, food &treat trucks and more!

  • Back to School: 1,000 Free Items back to School Supplies for the 1 st 1,000 kids (limit 2 per family). Plus, find school enrollment on-site, classes/care/programs/resources for back to school items for your kids

  • What To Do at The Event: Find & enroll in schools, classes, care, programs, and resources for back to school and items for your kids and family. Find resources to help your family such as rent assistance, family financial help, various Columbus public resources, and resources to help strengthen your family.
