Tour of Completed Projects

You’re invited to join the Near East Area Commission (NEAC) for a Guided Project Tour of completed developments previously reviewed by the commission. This tour is designed to spark dialogue about what works well and where improvements can be made from a zoning and community perspective. We’ll view projects from sidewalks and alleys (no property access required) and discuss their impact on the neighborhood’s character, livability, and future planning.

Tour Highlights (in order from starting point):

-Savrielle (304 Woodland): What makes this building so well liked?

-476 Taylor Apartments: Does its proximity to the street feel inviting or crowded?

-1441 Oak St. + 1432-1438 Oak St.: Thoughtful infill homes or too modest for today’s needs?

-Grimes Pointe (1534 E. Main): Is this a good model for affordable family housing? How does Zone-In shape the conversation moving forward?

This is a public meeting. Neighbors, community partners, and anyone curious about neighborhood planning are welcome.
