The Cat Rave - fundraiser benefitting Colony Cats and AP Mutual Aid Fund!
Three words: Cat. Dance. Party. We don't think any further words are necessary, but wasting the opportunity to talk about our upcoming Cat Rave event gives us paws for thought. We at the Autonomy Project take celebrating International Cat Day seriously. Because... cats. It's the purr-fect time to throw one big cat dance party. So that's what we're doing. Wear your finest cat costume (a T-shirt with your cat's face printed on it? Leopard print pants? Come dressed as an actual cat? The choice is yours!).
Win a prize in our Catwalk contest! Strut your stuff on the dance floor to our DJs spinning the filthiest house, techno, and electro known to catkind - we'll have the tunes to scratch that itch and make your tail flick. Cat meme photo booth? We'll have it! Laser pointer light show? Who doesn't love lasers and bass drops? Black light box corner? Yes! THC "Catnip" drinks to leave you feline fine? Also yes! Missing out on this one would be a cat-astrophe..
SUBMIT YOUR CAT PICS
Since our cats can sadly not join us at this event, we're doing the next best thing: we'll have a big digital display with photos of them. Submit your photos so they can join us in spirit. Bonus, we might even feature them on our socials too.
Here's where to submit:

DRESS CODE
When it comes to attire, we want to encourage comfort and expression at Wicked Eden. We want you to feel comfortable and in the mood to have an adventure! We want you to feel safe expressing yourself in whatever you desire. We encourage you to go outside your comfort zone with festive, outrageous, or fantastic clothing you never get to wear anywhere else.
VOLUNTEERS
We LOVE volunteers! Join our team of community volunteers, and you will find new friends, a support system, and a tight-knit center of empowerment.
By volunteering with us, you can make a meaningful impact on people's lives. Still, you will also get perks such as discounted or free access to our events and classes and, most importantly, collaborative input into what we do here. Your ideas are important to us, and as a volunteer, we want you to feel like you're part of our community: one that celebrates who you are and supports your journey.
INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY
We're committed to inclusivity. Our community is a tapestry of individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds, including all gender identities and expressions. We encourage everyone to engage with empathy and curiosity, always asking rather than assuming someone's identity or preferences. Our space is and always will be wheelchair accessible, with multiple spaces for varying sensory needs.
Read more about our Rules and Community Agreements and check the FAQ too.
