Food & Mood: An Interactive Discussion

Food & Mood is an interactive family-friendly educational seminar infused with tasty bites of mood boosting foods to assist in “inner-standing” how the foods we eat affect more than just our bodies, but our minds as well. Hear from mental health and medical professionals, shared experiences and perspectives and take away recipes and thoughtful meal plans to aid in finding the right foods for moods that lead to wholistically healthier lives.

What to expect?

• Discussion on the overall effect that food has on our mental states.
• What foods benefit us and those foods we should consider limiting if not removing from our diets to support living our best lives physically and mentally.
• Experience delicious bites of real meals made in the FACCES Kitchen including foods from the FACCES Urban Garden.
• Enjoy the freshly prepared recipes, take time to reflect on the body’s response to the foods provided and consider adding them into your diet.
• Pick up recipe cards for your favorite bites of the evening to take home to prepare for your family at home!
• Pick up our meal guides/food & mood meal trackers to create your own mood boosting food plan and share with your family to do the same!
