Clowning for the Actor: A workshop in joy !

Led by Kristie Koehler Vuocolo, founder of Good Medicine Productions and longtime comedic physical theater artist and medical clown, this workshop introduces the fundamentals of clowning as a powerful tool for the actor’s craft.

Through games, physical exploration, and honest connection, participants will learn how to get out of their heads and into their bodies—tapping into presence, breath, and impulse. Clowning invites us to let go of “getting it right” and instead find truth, humor, and humanity through play. Whether you're new to clown or a seasoned performer looking to reconnect with your instincts, this joyful session will leave you more grounded, open, and alive onstage.
