Bariatric Support Group

In-person group sessions from 7-8 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every other month at the Piedmont Columbus Midtown Conference Center for pre-operative and post-operative bariatric surgical patients. This serves as an essential resource for education, support, nutritional guidance, and medical advice.

These support groups provide an excellent opportunity to forge new friendships and engage with others to exchange ideas and recommendations that can contribute to your success. Studies indicate that patients who consistently participate in support groups experience greater success in weight loss and emotional adaptation compared to those who do not, particularly in the long term.
