After the holidays, many of us hold tension and fatigue in our bodies after travel, long hours of sitting, and disrupted routines. Muscles and connective tissue can become dehydrated and guarded keeping the nervous system in a more guarded default station.
This can feel like extra tension, not fully being able to “wake” the body, or higher base lines of anxiousness. Tune Up Yoga method uses rolling, movement, and gentle pressure to help address that buildup directly by massaging all the layers of tissue to promote movement where it has been limited.
Moving slowly, with intention, and awareness reminds the body how to release tension, connect to breath, and settle into natural movement that you can keep repeating.
Start the new year with this reset for a supportive foundation rather than added pressure. Rather than pushing ourselves forward toward goals, we’ll spend this time re-establishing awareness, mobility, and trust in your body to meet ourselves where we’re at with care, comfort, and intention.
This practice often leaves people feeling clearer, lighter, rested, and more grounded. From there: we can choose movement, routines, and intentions tend to unfold more naturally, making this a reset you can carry with you well beyond our time together!
