🏴 The Knights of St. Andrew of the Valley of Columbia Scottish Rite cordially invite you to our annual Robert Burns Supper on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 A.D. | 5786 A.M. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 33 N. Masonic Dr., in Columbia, MO. Doors open at 5:30 pm, with dinner at 6:00 pm.
🍽 In addition to the traditional ceremonial presentation of the haggis, the evening’s meal will begin with a selection of hors d’oeuvres, including savory stuffed mushrooms and bacon macaroni-and-cheese bites.
🍲 The first course will feature a classic Scottish Cock-a-Leekie Soup, served warm.
🍗 The main course will offer guests a choice of entrée:
• Roast Beef, accompanied by a rich whisky sauce, or
• Lemon and Rosemary Roasted Chicken Thighs, finished with a light lemon sauce.
🥗 Both entrées will be served with a fresh spring salad, accompanied by dressing and seasoned croutons, as well as freshly baked rolls.
🍠 Accompaniments will include traditional mashed neeps (turnips), prepared with butter and seasoning; mashed tatties (potatoes), enhanced with garlic and butter; and fresh sautéed spinach, finished in garlic butter with extra virgin olive oil.
🍰 The evening will conclude with dessert: an assortment of house-prepared cobblers, served with whipped cream, and traditional Scottish shortbread.
💵 This delicious dinner and unmatched fellowship is $45 per person, or $80 per couple, and spouses and guests are encouraged to attend. Dress is semi-formal (suit, or jacket, and tie), with kilts and Scottish dress highly encouraged!
