Reclamation: Cultivating Radical Self-love & Wellbeing

Reclamation is HopeWorks' peer-led support group specifically for adult survivors of child sexual abuse. This is a space to cultivate radical self-love, personal power, and beloved community. Using the power of the arts, conversation, and connection we provide opportunities to be heard, to be validated, to reflect, and to walk a healing path together.

All adults (over 18) are welcome to attend. HopeWorks is committed to creating a beloved community by providing an intentionally welcoming environment where all feel valued and respected, and where all are given opportunities to form meaningful connections with one another.

ABOUT HopeWorks

HopeWorks is Howard County Maryland’s rape crisis and domestic violence center. We provide direct support to survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence (including adult survivors of child sexual abuse). And we work in the community to change the culture that allows these forms of violence to continue.

HopeWorks’ services include crisis shelter, counseling, advocacy, legal resources, survivor leadership & wellness programs, prevention education, professional trainings, community self-care & social justice programs and volunteer opportunities.

At HopeWorks, we use the arts in three important ways to accomplish our mission: to support survivors in their healing; as a vehicle to increase awareness; and to imagine creative solutions to bring about social change.
