Navigating Travel and Get-Togethers: For Caregivers of People Experiencing Dementia

The holidays often involve getting together with family and friends. This can be fun, but also a challenge because it takes us out of our familiar places. Traveling with someone who has dementia requires careful planning and preparation to ensure both the traveler and caregiver have a positive experience. Join us to hear firsthand accounts from caregivers on how they achieved safety and comfort while traveling with their loved ones. Participants will also get connected to local resources and gain support and knowledge while navigating this disease. Presented by the Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
