Lakefront Live Summer Kickoff Block Party

Kick off the summer Lakefront Live season in the best way possible! Head down to the Downtown Columbia Lakefront for free kids' activities, food trucks, free ice cream (while supplies last) and a spectacular performance by Shamarr Allen, produced by Merriweather Arts and Culture Center (MACC).

Plus, neighbors 21+ are invited to a community beer garden featuring local breweries and wineries.

📌Registration is required to participate in the free kids’ activities

4-7pm – Kids' activities including CA’s very own TRIBE Kids team

4-7:30pm – Food trucks and community beer garden open

7pm – Performance by Shamarr Allen, produced by MACC

Shamarr Allen is the definition of New Orleans! Hailing from the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, Allen has influences in jazz, hip-hop, rock, funk rhythms, blues and country. Allen has collaborated with many renowned artists around the world such as Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Galatic, Harrick Connick Jr, and Lenny Kravitz, to name a few. He is the True Orleans experience!
