About Lisa Matassa -

Lisa Matassa is a Nashville-based country singer/songwriter known for blending her classical vocal training with her lifelong love of country music. Raised in South Florida and later New York, Lisa was influenced by legends like Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Though she began her music career in the late ’80s as freestyle dance artist Lysa Lynn, her true passion for country music led her to Nashville in 2010.

Her debut country single “Me Time” gained national attention, followed by successful releases including Sunrise Highway and Somebody’s Baby, the latter reaching #37 on the country charts and holding the #1 spot on iHeartRadio for 15 weeks. Over the years, she has opened for and shared stages with country greats like George Strait, Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, and Miranda Lambert.

In 2024, she released Why I’m Here – Legendary Duets, collaborating with artists such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Lorrie Morgan, and Mickey Gilley. The accompanying benefit concert and behind-the-scenes special aired on national TV in 2025.

Lisa earned her first Emmy Award in 2025 for her performance in the George Jones – Still Playin’ Possum tribute. She also co-wrote the holiday hit “Everyday Is Christmas,” with award winning singer/songwriter Larry Stewart and is currently working on her own debut Christmas album, set for release in 2026.

Dr. Todd Smith's Story:

Todd Smith has been a practicing Chiropractor in Lewisburg and Franklin, Tennessee since 1999. Passionate about helping and healing patients, and giving back to the community.

Todd is a devoted husband, father to three wonderful children, father-in-law, and proud grandfather of two beloved grandchildren.

On June 28th, while celebrating his 32nd wedding anniversary, Dr. Todd Smith suffered a heart attack and stroke and was immediately rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was taken into emergency surgery. Due to the location and severity of a concurrent stroke, doctors gave him only a 4% chance of survival.

Approximately an hour after the initial procedure, while in recovery, Dr. Smith experienced a seizure. Physicians determined he was suffering a second stroke caused by the collapse of the basilar artery—an artery critical for supplying blood and oxygen to the brain. An emergency procedure was performed to insert a stent in hopes of reopening the artery. His survival chances were reduced to just 1%.

The hours and days that followed were filled with uncertainty. However, through Todd’s resilience, the power of prayer, and the unwavering support of friends, family, and faith, he defied the odds. His recovery is nothing short of miraculous, through Gods hands and the prayers of so many.

Dr. Smith’s path to healing has been challenging, both physically and mentally. As an athlete and a dedicated healthcare provider who once balanced two busy clinics and daily workouts, the transition to a limited physical state has been difficult. But true to his nature, Dr. Todd remains determined and committed to regaining his strength.

His recovery regimen is comprehensive, involving numerous therapies and appointments:

Neurofeedback to support neuroplasticity and brain function
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to enhance cellular healing
Chiropractic care, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, ALT therapy, stem cell treatments, and both physical and occupational therapy
Healing is a gradual process—but with continued support, dedication, and faith, we are. confident that Dr. Todd will make a full recovery. Doc Todd is used to helping his patients and not being the patient. He looks forward to returning to his life’s work—restored and even more equipped to help others on their healing journeys.
