🌈 Dive Into the Magical World of The Rainbow Fish at Dotty Pottery! 🐟
This World Book Day, we’re celebrating the beloved story of The Rainbow Fish with a creative and fun-filled craft event for preschool and primary-aged children of all abilities! Join us at Dotty Pottery, where our talented staff member Kim—a former primary educator—will lead the session and use her skills to create engaging, hands-on activities for all to enjoy.
What to Expect:
✨ Fun Crafting Activities: Create your very own Rainbow Fish with shimmering scales, colourful designs, and underwater magic! Children will explore various mark making skills, hand grips for early writing skills and fine motor skills.
Each child will also have the opportunity to paint their very own Rainbow Fish ceramic plate which they will be able to collect at a later date once it had been glazed and fired.
Our activities are designed for children of all abilities, ensuring everyone can join in the fun
🎨 Expert Guidance from Kim: With her education background, Kim will make sure each child is supported, providing a friendly, inclusive environment where creativity can flourish.
📚 Storytime: We’ll read the heart-warming story of The Rainbow Fish, followed by hands-on crafts that highlight the story’s themes of sharing, friendship, and kindness.
👕 Dress Up as Your Favourite Character: Come dressed as your favourite book character for even more fun—and the chance to win a special prize!
This event is perfect for pre-schoolers and primary-aged children of all abilities—whether your child is just starting to explore art or is a budding craft expert!
