To the Mountains We Go

When life gets to be too much, we head to the mountains to heal our spirits and revive our sense of wonder.

The early dawn light on Pikes Peak soothes the soul. The charming and colorful wildflowers of Washington Gulch tickle and delight the heart. Sounds of rushing water cascading through Blue Creek in Hoosier Pass brings unexpected joy.

Laura Reilly’s August show “To the Mountains We Go” shares Colorado’s extraordinary pleasures in a series of exuberant postmodern impressionist landscapes that will take your breath away and remind you why Laura's favorite color is Colorado.

“To the Mountains We Go” opens during August First Friday Art Walk in Old Colorado City and continues through the end of August. The show can be seen in person at the Laura Reilly Fine Art Gallery and Studio or online at laurareilly.com.
