The Colorado Springs North Stake is hosting a fireside with a special guest speaker, Daniel Smith,on August 24that 7pmin the Lexington Building. He will be teaching us about the Temple in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. Daniel Smith is a scriptural history enthusiast with Scripture Central who hosts a popular YouTube channel that has millions of views. He will be coming straight from Education Week in Utah to Colorado Springs to share what he has learned over the past three years as he and his team painstakingly recreated the temple in exquisite detail. This is an unusual opportunity to learn about ancient temples which will undoubtedly enhance our own temple worship. It is part of an initiative to help prepare the saints and our community for the coming Colorado Springs temple.
