About the event

The Slackers + Eastern Standard Time + Youthsayers Outernational Orchestra
Open Air auf der Freideck-Bühne. Mit The Slackers (New York) und Eastern Standard Time (Washington DC) treffen sich zwei der beliebtesten und besten Ska-Bands der Welt in der Kölner Kantine.
Beide Bands sind für ihr soziales und politisches Engagement für Demokratie und Freiheitsrechte bekannt, was im Amerika der Trump-Ära umso wichtiger ist.
Das "Youthsayers Outernational Orchestra", bestehend aus Jugendlichen aus London und von der Kölner Königin-Luise-Schule, macht mit einem Programm aus Afro-Jazz, Reggae und Ska den Auftakt.
Im Anschluss an die Live-Konzerte auf der Freideck-Bühne legt das Freedom Sounds DJ-Team im lauschigen Biergarten noch Ska, Reggae und Soul auf.
